And we are back live. Hey guys sup !!!
It has been hectic schedule for both of us. While Miss Anubhuti is busy with her Zumba performance practice, sometimes upto 4 hours a day <complaining>. I have been working on a startup Archino.in and just came back from a business trip to Salt Lake City (UT, USA). If I had a nickel every time someone asked me “First time in US ??” I would have returned rich :D. Anyways, more about Salt Lake City and Las Vegas (YES I DID VEGAS !!) in coming post.
So with life keeping us apart entangled in pursuit of yearnings we managed a getaway form this buzz. Rusticville promised to offer a perfect camping in the wilderness with comforts of home. Also as promoted on their website, we expected nothing less than a perfect star gazing night.
“Grill your own bar-b-que, chill around your private bon fire, take a midnight walk, sleep with the lullaby of nature and wake up with the mist.”
So we reached around 5:00, the camping ground is near Lonavla. Only comment do take old Mumbai-Pune highway rest Google Baba ki jai. Camping ground is smaller than it look on website but can’t complain.
While the sun is still sparing us with some gracious light we managed to challenge a group for a cricket match (Ohh forgot! we were two families 10 members, get discounted rates). It was a nail bitter with 16 runs coming of last 3 deliveries and a controversial 6.
Post match we had evening snacks and tea. Strolled along the camping site.
Bar-b-Que was served, had fun time with family playing some games.
Overall I would say it was a fun experience with family, Rusticville could have been better with their facilities/service. There is a lot of scope for improvement but can’t complain much. Do carry your own car-o-bar and some essentials for camping.
If you had any other fun camping experiences or want us to review some other getaways share with us in comments or mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
